The final scores from the inaugural weekend of college football are not in yet, but oddsmakers are already hard at work establishing wagering lines for the upcoming week.

This is the first opportunity to see how the books and bettors will react to the first impressions from teams around the country. This is in contrast to the Week 1 lines, 

which in many cases spent a significant amount of time on the board. When No. 1 Alabama travels to Texas to face former offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns,

it will be the biggest game of the week. In addition to the start of league play in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the calendar features exciting on-campus nonconference matchups

such as Tennessee's matchup against No. 17 Pittsburgh and No. 10 Baylor's matchup against No. 25 BYU. Along with that, it's the time of year when we typically see a few major intrastate rivalries.
