David A. Arnold, a Netflix star and comedian, has passed away at the age of 54, his family has confirmed.

The Fuller House writer was just three dates into his comedy tour 'Pace Ya Self' when he died ‘from natural causes’ at his home.

"It is with tremendous regret that we confirm the untimely departure of our husband, father, brother, and friend, David A. Arnold," his family wrote in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.

David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes.

‘Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.’

Just hours before his family announced his death, he posted a video to Instagram of one of his comedy sketches.

Remembering the day his daughter chose between his wife and him to send to a nursing home, David wrote, "I will never forget the day my oldest decided between my wife and me who she was going."

It prompted heartbroken comments from friends and supporters underneath. His death has not yet been announced on his social media pages or website.

A veteran of the Montreal Comedy Festival and an appearance on Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx marked the beginning of the comedian and author's career.
