After drawing last week with AS Monaco, PSG got back on track with a 3-0 victory over Toulouse, who had just been promoted. PSG faced a tough challenge from Toulouse in the south of France,

but Lionel Messi orchestrated a victory. Both goals were assisted by the Argentine; Neymar scored the first just before halftime, and Kylian Mbappe scored shortly after.

After an original offside flag disallowed Neymar's goal, VAR confirmed the Brazilian's goal, giving him seven goals on the season to rank second in the Big Five leagues,

behind only Man City's Erling Haaland. While both teams played evenly in the first half, Toulouse's demise came after Nicholaisen's injury, which allowed PSG to take control in the second.

Without Dupe's genius, the scoreline would have been far worse. It was Lionel Messi's signature moments of magic that ultimately proved decisive, setting up goals for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The win puts PSG back on track before the start of Champions League action next week. Maxime Dupe, playing in goal for Toulouse, had a wonderful game, making nine incredible saves

to keep the hosts in the game, but they were unable to get through the PSG defence. PSG took advantage of the fact that Rasmus Nicolaisen couldn't play defence because he got hurt before halftime.

When it came to keeping the scoresless, Gianluigi Donnarumma was also up to the challenge. With five wins and no losses, PSG leads Toulouse by two points in the league standings.

Despite the fact that Ligue 1 will be reduced to 18 teams next season (putting four teams at risk of relegation), the performance of Toulouse has given its fans hope that they can stay in the league.
