Emmys: Zendaya Becomes Youngest Two-Time Acting Winner for ‘Euphoria’
Zendaya is the youngest-ever two-time acting Emmy winner, winning her second Drama Actress statuette for Euphoria.
When the actress took to the stage, she shared that she was “honored to be beside” the “incredible actresses” in her category, then going on to thank Euphoria‘s cast and crew. “
Thank you for making this show safe. Zendaya loves you all. "Thank you, Academy, and thanks to my friends and family who are here tonight. Thank you for believing in me when I didn't.
Zendaya said her "greatest wish for Euphoria was to help heal people," thanking those who shared similar stories with her.
“I'm so grateful for your stories, and I carry them with me and with her,” she said. Thanks.
Zendaya could become the youngest-ever producing winner if Euphoria wins Outstanding Drama Series.
She was nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for Euphoria's "Elliot's Song" and "I'm Tired," but Schmigadoon's Cinco Paul won.
Zendaya previously set an Emmys record with her first win in 2020 for her lead role in Euphoria, which made her the youngest to conquer Drama Actress.
